Bordeaux goalkeeper Parfait Mandana has reportedly travelled to England for trials to reignite his career.

Currently second choice with the French Ligue 1 side, Mandana will try his luck in a bid to win a contract in England.

The DR Congo representative said it was tough to get a first team game at present.

"In Bordeaux it is difficult to move Ulrich Rame [number one], he is firmly rooted.

"So I have now chosen to leave."
