Bordeaux know they face stiff competition from Spain for on-loan AC Milan midfielder Yoann Gourcuff.

The 22 year-old France international is not in Milan's plans for next season and Bordeaux can sign him permanently for £15 million.

Real Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona and Sevilla have all made Gourcuff's minders aware that they're keen on the midfielder.

"Right now we have not talked about all this, simply because we are focusing on our goal season which is to achieve a place in the next Champions League," said the president of Bordeaux, Jean-Louis Triaud.

"Moreover, it is a lot of money for a French club, on this there is no doubt. But our owner is the owner of a chain of television stations and does not have problems with spending."
