Bordeaux are keen to snap up Arsenal striker Marouane Chamakh.

Chamakh has admitted he is willing to take a big pay-cut to rejoin Bordeaux - the French club he left to become a Gunner - and their president, Jean-Louis Triaud, is willing to start negotiations.

Triaud said: "For me, we can talk about a return when the player or his agent picks up the phone and calls me. For now, it doesn't happen."
