Bordeaux are chasing AC Milan midfielder Yoann Gourcuff.
The French club's president Jean-Louis Triaud said: "Next season we will give great satisfaction to the coach. We have already spoken and hopefully two players of the first level will arrive."
Bordeaux see Gourcuff as a potential replacement for Johan Micoud.
