Wilfried Bony says Manchester City fans will see his best next season.

Bony is expecting a mixed reception at Swansea City's Liberty Stadium on Sunday where some people have questioned the wisdom of his £28million move to City in January.

"There will be some [Swansea fans] who are happy to see me and some not," he said.

"I know some will say, 'he's not playing there at City, only a couple of minutes, he should not have left'.

"But you can't be loved by everyone. It has been a difficult time at City. Of course I would like to have been available more, to be fit and to be scoring - but that is something you can't control.

"But I can't choose the international programme and I can't choose the time to be injured. City fans have not seen the best of me."
