Bolton and Wigan are vying for the services of Israel goalkeeper Dudu Aouate after his bust-up at Deportivo La Coruna.
The 30-year-old is set to quit the Spanish club after a difficult season during which both he and his rival for the number one shirt, Gustavo Munua, were suspended for a punch-up after training.
Depor are now set to sign another keeper - Daniel Aranzubia - on a free transfer from Athletic Bilbao and allow Aouate to leave when they receive a firm bid in the region of £1million.
Neither Bolton nor Wigan have made official contact with Deportivo, but are both looking to add an experienced keeper.
