Bolton Wanderers striker Joe Mason will return to parent club Cardiff City next week.
The 22-year-old has scored six goals for Championship club Wanderers including two in their last two matches, a 1-0 win at Huddersfield and their 2-1 victory against Doncaster away.
"Joe has done a good job for the team and we would have loved him to stay," says Bolton's assistant manager and former Cardiff team boss Lennie Lawrence.
