Several Bolton Wanderers players are in New York to cheer on Amir Khan.

Zat Knight, Jussi Jaaskelainen and Fabrice Muamba will be watching on at Madison Square Garden, after being invited as guests of the staunch Wanderers fan.

"It'll be great to go over there and see Amir," Muamba told the Bolton News. "We see him around the Reebok at games when he comes to watch, and at the training ground when he's back in the country, so he offered us the chance to come and watch the fight.

"We'll be cheering him on, definitely. I think it will be a great experience.

"He's a Bolton Wanderers fan, so I suppose we're Amir Khan fans. It should be a good night."
