Bolton Wanderers are ready to make a new offer for Birmingham City striker Cameron Jerome.
The Mirror says last Tuesday Wanderers boss Owen Coyle had an opening £5million offer for City striker Jerome rejected.
But Coyle remains keen on landing the powerful forward despite him only scoring five goals last term.
And Jerome, 24, has told Brum he wants to work with former marksman Coyle to improve his game.
Now a compromise looks on the cards with relegated Brum holding out for £8m.
