Bolton Wanderers will have first refusal on Christian Wilhelmsson, despite the Swede joining Deportivo La Coruna last night.

Bolton refused to release Wilhelmsson until Nantes agreed to the option only hours before the Spanish international transfer window shut.

Wilhelmsson will play with Depor for the rest of the season, however could still return to the Reebok stadium should manager Gary Megson choose to sign him permanently at the end of the season.
