Bolton Wanderers must see off competition from Fulham for Toulouse striker Johan Elmander.

The Mirror says Fulham were alerted to news that an £11 million deal for Bolton was close yesterday and tried to step in.

But the signs are that Elmander is giving Bolton serious consideration as he plots his next move.

Bolton have let Norwegian striker Daniel Braaten go to Toulouse for talks as part of the deal.
