Bolton Wanderers defender Gary Cahill was impressed by Tottenham fullback Kyle Walker on England debut.

Cahill believes the injection of youth has added a new wave of confidence to the England squad heading towards Euro 2012.

"I thought he did really well," he said. "Kyle getting man of the match on his first cap is very pleasing.

"I think it's an exciting time. If these lads can get more involved, just like the rest of us, it gives them that vital experience coming into the summer."
