Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson says they won't rush into any new summer signings.

He told the Bolton Evening News: "We've got our targets we would like to bring in over the course of the summer.

"But initially you will find the really huge clubs will get their business done, because finance isn't an issue for them. They just get what they want.

"Then it goes quiet throughout June, before it starts to pick up a little bit with players who might not be available now becoming available in two months' time.

"It's not a case of it being tough, you just want to get in the best players you possibly can.

"But we are a football club that doesn't do stupid things. It's not just a case of getting them in at any cost, because then it doesn't become a good deal."
