Bolton boss Megson: No Fergie rift

Bolton Wanderers boss Gary Megson insists he has no problem with the mind games staged by Manchester United rival Sir Alex Ferguson last week.

Fergie questioned Bolton's motivation ahead of Sunday's trip to Chelsea after hearing of their survival celebrations last Monday.

"They weren't partying they went out on the Monday in the full knowledge they had six days to recover," Megson told Sky Sports News. "They didn't go crazy they did have a drink they did get together which they have done in the past and they will do it in future.

"Sometimes it is a good thing it gets everybody together, Sir Alex was just making sure the players were on their toes and they were.

"I received a text from him the other day I text him well done and he text me back well done and hoped his team talk did not upset the players

"It didn't it never did. They put in a real good shift down there to get a draw at Chelsea which most people haven't done they worked their socks off."
