Bologna veteran striker Marco di Vaio admits he rejected a summer move to Napoli.

Napoli approached the veteran in the summer after his goals almost single-handedly kept the Rossoblu in the top flight last season.

"Napoli wanted me in the summer," the former Italian international and Juve centre-forward noted to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"They were preparing for the Champions League and wanted me to join them. I said no because I want to end my career at this club."
