Bologna are in talks with Inter Milan over a loan deal for Mario Balotelli.

"We had a general look over the landscape to understand who Inter could release in the January transfer window," Bologna directors told newspapers after a meeting between Presidents Massimo Moratti and Francesca Menarini.

Balotelli is the main candidate, especially after the 18-year-old sensation was dropped from the squad for today's clash with Napoli.

"He didn't work sufficiently this week in training or the match situation," explained Jose Mourinho in a Press conference.
