Bologna signing Freuler admits falling out with Forest boss Cooper

Bologna signing Remo Freuler admits falling out with Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper.

Freuler left Forest in the final week of the summer to join Bologna.

He said, “I'm good, I've done all the training with Nottingham this summer, I played in the friendlies as well, it's just the league matches that I haven't played in so far. With the national team, I started twice, so on the pitch, it's all good."

“I don't think it went badly in Nottingham," he continued. “Our objective was to survive, we did that. From a personal point of view, it's only really the last five games of the season that I didn't play.

“First, he [Cooper] made me captain, then I don't quite know what happened. I spoke to him, he didn't explain to me exactly what was going wrong and by the end, I think we were on a slightly different wavelength."
