Bologna president Francesca Menarini is confident they will beat the drop this season.

"All the signs that we can resolve our situation are there. We have a favourable fixture list," Menarini explained.

"We are aware we aren't going through a particularly brilliant period, but we have lost points against teams we respect that have more ambitious objectives than ours.

"Now we have 12 games left, of which seven are at home, and the majority are against our direct rivals. I am convinced that we'll get out of the relegation zone as soon as possible.

"I see a determined team, a Coach like the boys, and I am certain that we will see results. I want to reassure the fans that there is no reason to think in a negative way."
