Italian duo Bologna and Lazio are planning a move for Southampton flop Gaston Ramirez.

Ramirez has been a huge disappointment since his record breaking £12million move to Southampton three seasons ago and the Uruguayan is now surplus to requirements at the St Mary's Stadium.

Despite his poor spell at Southampton, and below-par loan at Hull City last term, Ramirez is still held in high regard in Italy and it has been reported by the Daily Echo that the 24-year old is being courted by his former club Bologna as well as capital club Lazio.
