Crystal Palace believe they can lure Moussa Sissoko to South London from Newcastle United.
The Telegraph is reporting that Alan Pardew's Eagles are willing to use money received from the sale of Yannick Bolasie to go after the France international.
Palace landed £25million from Everton for Bolasie and are believed to be preparing an offer for Sissoko who is keen to leave St James' Park following Newcastle's relegation to the Championship.
The Magpies have lost their opening two second tier matches and Sissoko is keen to return to top flight football as soon as possible.
Palace will also sell Australian international Mile Jedinak to Aston Villa which will open up a spot, and extra salary money, for Sissoko to consume.
26-year-old Sissoko was bought by Pardew when the Eagles boss was at the helm of the Toon in January 2013, making 76 appearances under the Londoner before he moved to Selhurst Park two years later.
