Real Salt Lake are reportedly showing interest in Argentine defender Daniel 'Cata' Diaz.

A report on Argentine radio show AM 1190 Radio America has the veteran centre-back linked with a potential move to MLS next year with RSL heavily linked.

Former Getafe and Atletico Madrid man Cata Diaz is contracted to Buenos Aires giants Boca Juniors until June 2016 and although it is believed the club are keen to have him extend his stay at La Bombonera, other clubs are sniffing around.

The link with RSL comes after the Utah outfit landed attacker Juan Manuel Martinez from Boca on a free in August.
