Manchester City defender Jerome Boateng will not depart the club this summer according to his agent.
The 22-year old right-back has endured a tough debut season in England because of injury and rumours are circulating that he may be on his way back to the German Bundesliga.
But his representative, Jorg Neubauer, said that the former Hamburg man will not be leaving Eastlands for Bayern Munich after just one season.
"The whole issue is a newspaper theme," Neubauer told Kicker.
"I don't have to think about a transfer as long as no one approaches me."
