Bleiberg left frustrated after Gold Coast United loss

Gold Coast United coach Miron Bleiberg was left frustrated after watching his side give up an early lead before eventually going down 2-1 to the A-League's bottom team, North Queensland Fury.

Bleiberg admitted his side was not good enough despite the fact they were without a number of key players but feels those he deployed on the pitch last night could have got something out of the contest.

"It was very annoying and there is no one to blame but ourselves. We were not good enough tonight and we lost," Bleiberg said.

"We went into the game under-manned with a lot of players missing, but it's still a game we could have taken something from.

"The better team on the day won the match and we've missed a golden opportunity to close the gap on the top two. It was a bad night for us, simple as that."
