Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce will not be moving for AZ Alkmaar midfielder Rasmus Elm.

The Lancashire Telegraph says it was speculated that Allardyce had targeted the £4m-rated Swedish international, who has struggled to settle in the Netherlands this year, but those rumours are wide of the mark.

But Rovers are inviting former Monaco and Bordeaux midfielder Camel Meriem back to East Lancashire for a second trial.
