Blackpool boss Ian Holloway was delighted with the goal scoring debut of on-loan Liverpool midfielder Jonjo Shelvey.

Ollie reckons he'll have a word with Shelvey about shooting from so far out.

"That was ridiculous. I'll have to tell him not to do that again," joked the boss. "I mean, if he can do that on a regular basis, then put him in your team, Kenny (Dalglish)!

"Actually, Ken, don't listen to me - you don't want to put him in your team yet...

"Jonjo has been a star in the making for a long time, and sometimes when you go to a club of the size of Liverpool, where you are playing for a huge amount of money, it takes you a while to settle.

"He is frustrated he isn't playing, so let's give him some games. I was confident enough to put him straight in because I have been waiting for him."
