Blackburn Rovers are eyeing Hull City supremo Adam Pearson.
The People says Rovers want experienced Pearson to quit Hull and join them as director of football.
Pearson is head of football operations at the Tigers and has also been linked with buy-outs of Barnsley and Sheffield United.
However, Rovers see Pearson filling the void left by chairman John Williams and chief executive Tom Finn's departures.
Pearson has spent years at the football coal face, guiding Hull from the bottom league to the top, and also had a spell at Derby.
