Blackburn Rovers are closing on a deal for Sporting Lisbon winger Simon Vukcevic.
The Lancashire Telegraph says Vukcevic was due for a medical at Blackburn yesterday.
The Montenegrin international is being allowed to leave Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon for in the region of £2million and is understood to be close to sealing a deal with Rovers if he completes a successful medical.
The attacking midfielder, who can also play on either flank or in attack, was a January target for Rovers boss Steve Kean and, after falling out of favour with Lisbon, is now ready to move to the Premier League.
