Blackburn Rovers have sounded out Tottenham about the availability of Mexican winger Giovani dos Santos.
The Lancashire Telegraph says Rovers have already made tentative enquiries about a Premier League striker and Dos Santos could fit the bill - with the possibility of taking him on loan another potential option open to them.
The former Barcelona youngster is not an out-and-out striker but, with Nikola Kalinic and Jason Roberts battling for the target man role next season, would suit Allardyce's preferred system in a supporting role.
