Blackburn Rovers are moving for Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
The Mirror says Rovers boss Steve Kean's top priority is signing a big-name striker and Adebayor tops the list, along with Roma's Mirko Vucinic and Amauri of Juventus.
Manchester City are desperate to offload Adebayor, just two years after splashing out £25million to sign him from Arsenal.
Real Madrid failed to exercise the option to make his loan spell permanent before Monday's deadline.
City may now accept as little as £10m for Adebayor, with manager Roberto Mancini adamant he does not want the player back at their Carrington base for pre-season training.
