Blackburn Rovers boss Gary Bowyer has paid tribute to veteran David Dunn.
The 35-year old midfielder will make his final appearance for the Lancashire club in Saturday's clash with Ipswich Town but ahead of his swansong, Bowyer has spoken highly of the man who has made over 350 appearances.
Bowyer described Dunn as a Rovers' legend' and is tipping the ex-Birmingham City man to one day return to Ewood Park as manager of the club.
"Between now and him leaving there will be a hell of a lot of plaudits going his way and rightly so as what he has done for this football club is unbelievable, it is immense," Bowyer told Rovers' official website.
"He's come through the academy and has gone on to represent England whilst at Blackburn Rovers. We've always used him as a role model for the younger players, in this day and age I'm not sure we'll see many more types like him.
"He's is a legend at Blackburn Rovers and a massive fan of the club who still is and always will be.
"The qualities he's got throughout his career I'm sure that they will continue in his quest to become a manager. And one day, in my opinion, he will manage Blackburn Rovers, and I look forward to that day.
"He's been truly remarkable for this club and, whether we see the type of him again, I'm not too sure."
