Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is keen to bring Swedish midfielder Rasmus Elm to Ewood Park.

The 21-year old AZ Alkmaar youngster has been a target for English clubs in recent times with Everton missing out on his services in the summer as he opted to join the Dutch outfit instead.

Now Allardyce will make a move for Elm who believes he may have made the wrong move by joining Alkmaar instead of moving to the English Premier League.

Alkmaar are likely to want at least £4million for the talented midfielder, the price they bought him for in August this year.
