Blackburn Rovers are still weighing up takeover offers.

The Lancashire Evening Telegraph says a Rovers source has confirmed that talks are still on-going between the club's advisers, Rothschilds, and a number of parties interested in mounting a possible takeover.

One of those interested parties is believed to be a group fronted by the JJB supremo Chris Ronnie.

However, a deal is not thought to be imminent with any of the parties currently involved in the process, according to a well-placed source.

"There is some interest but nothing is imminent. However, as the club have stated all along, that could change in a phonecall."
