Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is chasing Espanyol goalkeeper Carlos Kameni.
The People says Allardyce has been chasing Kameni for weeks and agents have now set up a deal for the summer, with the African ace out of contract and free to move.
Kameni has been in La Liga for years after cutting his teeth in France with Le Havre.
He has been linked with Premier League clubs before but is now poised to fulfil his dream - if Rovers stay up. Blackburn sent a team of negotiators over last week to tee up the move for 25-year-old Kameni.
