Blackburn Rovers' global advisor Shebby Singh says they've been flooded by applications for the manager's job.
Tottenham coach and former Blackburn star Tim Sherwood has been strongly linked along with Alan Shearer, whilst Celtic legend Henrik Larsson - currently managing in Sweden - is also reportedly keen on the role.
Singh is confident the club will find the right manager to succeed the Scot.
Asked about the names being linked he said: "Part of it is speculation, part of it is rumour - but at this moment in time we are being flooded.
"We have CVs coming in, it is not as bad a club as people make out - there is a lot of interest."
