Blackburn boss Kean pleased with ex-Aberdeen pair Anderson, Blackman

Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean was pleased with two relative newcomers in their friendly win over Accrington Stanley.

Kean was pleased with the displays of Myles Anderson and Nick Blackman.

Both players were on loan at SPL side Aberdeen last season, with the manager happy with the way they linked up down the left side:

"I thought both of them played well. A good little partnership, probably formed last year at Aberdeen," he told the Rovers website.

"Myles picked up a little knock on the top of his foot and a little bang on his knee, but hopefully that will be okay.

"And Nick played three different positions - left, right and then through the middle - and I thought his movement was excellent.

"His movement, his pace and his ability to go short and then spin in behind caused all of their defenders problems."
