Blackburn Rovers are attempting to tie down two of their FA Youth Cup stars.

The People says Rovers are trying to tie down Jack O'Connell and Ryan Edwards to new contracts - before the FA Youth Cup final.

The two young centre-halves were yet to be offered pro deals - news that alerted a handful of rivals.

However, Blackburn's owners Venky's have moved fast and are keen to get the pair signed up quickly.
