ChampionshipBlackburn Rovers have named online gaming company Dafabet as their new primary sponsor in an initial three-year deal, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The Dafabet logo will be present on the front of the Blackburn players' matchday jerseys and Dafabet will also become the club's official international betting and gaming partner. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed but, according to reports, it could be worth a seven-figure sum.
John Cruces, the head of sports marketing and sponsorship at Dafabet, said: "Everyone is aware that this year is the 20th anniversary of Rovers winning the Premier League and we were sold on the club's ambition to get back into English football's top flight.
"We're looking forward to seeing the Dafabet logo on such an iconic football shirt and working together with the club on a long term mutually beneficial partnership which complements our other investments in UK sport."
