Birmingham City chairman David Gold is confident of success in the January market.
Gold and joint owner David Sullivan will back new boss Alex McLeish in January.
Gold insists City stand a better chance of landing McLeish's targets - Rangers striker Kris Boyd and Sheffield United defender Gary Naysmith - without Yeung.
"David Sullivan and I make a decision in five minutes," said Gold. "With the Chinese people, they hold 15 board meetings for every decision."
