Birmingham City have taken a trio of Ayr United players on trial.
18-year old Robbie Crawford, 17-year old Mark Shankland and 22-year old David Sinclair, all midfielders, will head to St Andrew's on Monday.
The three Honest Men players will spend four days training with the Brum wit manager Mark Roberts pointing out that it is a great opportunity for all involved.
"We've also had clubs such as Bolton, Crystal Palace and Charlton at our games this season and it underlines that the Academy is doing a great job," he told the Ayrshire Post.
"Crawford and Sinclair are there on merit while Shankland is going due to his reputation since a boy.
"It's a great chance to train and learn. They are all aged under 23 so if anything comes from it, there could be good money for Ayr."
