Matt Taylor is expected to be sold by Bolton Wanderers in the summer.

The Sun says Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish is ready to offer Taylor an escape route from Bolton with a £2million bid this summer.

Taylor, 28, is unhappy under new boss Owen Coyle and wants to leave.

But McLeish will face a tussle with Sunderland chief Steve Bruce for his signature.
