Birmingham's Zigic takes the plaudits for his four goal haul

Birmingham boss Chris Hughton was delighted for Nikola Zigic after the giant striker fired all his side's goals in a resounding 4-1 win at Leeds. Hughton, whose side moved up to fourth in the championship with a sixth straight win in all competitions, said: "I'm delighted for him because he's a big lad and when you're 6ft 7in at times you're not going to be the most graceful or the quickest.

"But he is a player who, if you give good service, can be a real awkward customer to play against. And he can score goals and he showed that. They were four very good finishes, not only technically very good finishes but also his movement, which was excellent.

"He's a really good lad for us. He always works hard. You'd be surprised the distance he covers in a game, I'm really pleased for him."
