Birmingham City are interested in released Manchester City defender Reece Wabara.

The Daily Mail says Wabara, 22 is available on a free and has been training with Birmingham since leaving the Etihad Stadium.

And Blues boss Lee Clarke is keen to sign Wabara ahead of next season having been impressed by the versatile defender.

However, any deal could hinge on whether or not Birmingham are successful in their battle against relegation.
