Birmingham City have made a bid for Celtic defender Bobo Balde.
The Sunday Mercury says McLeish has firmed up his interest for Balde after his proposed move to Bolton collapsed last week. Balde is also in Africa representing his country, Guinea, but sources in Scotland say Blues have lodged a £500,000 bid.
