Arsenal defender Auston Trusty - on loan with Birmingham City - has hailed his parent club as the "best team in the world".

The American defender also revealed that he "wishes" he was a part of the side this season.

Trusty said to Goal: "I would say they are the best team in the world.

"It's been a remarkable season, and hopefully it continues and they go on and win the title.

"I know that's the mindset of the entire Arsenal organisation.

"I wish I was a part of the team doing it, but watching it from afar, I'm still proud watching the squad do what they're doing."
