Birmingham City have completed the signings of Fulham defender Franck Queudrue and Aston Villa's Liam Ridgewell for a combined £4.5 million.
Queudrue, 28, has signed a three-year contract at St Andrews.
Birmingham boss Steve Bruce then moved quickly to land 23-year-old Ridgewell from local rivals Villa, also on a three-year deal for £2m.
Ridgewell is the first player in the last decade to make the switch from Villa to Birmingham.
