Steve Bruce, father of Ipswich Town defender Alex Bruce, is hoping to snatch Blackburn striker Francis Jeffers from the Tractor Boys where the former Arsenal man ended the season on loan.

Town will be relying and hoping that Birmingham and Blackburn's well-documented bad relationship will ruin any potential move for Jeffers to St Andrews.
