Birmingham City are chasing Hull City defender Harry Maguire.
The People says Maguire, a £2.5m summer signing from Sheffield United, is struggling to break into the Tigers' first-team ranks on a consistent basis.
With the Tigers out of Europe and the Capital One Cup, boss Steve Bruce is open to some of his fringe stars going out on loan to the Championship to maintain match fitness.
