Birmingham City chairman David Gold says the 'pig in mud' feud with Aston Villa director General Charles Krulak is over.
Gold told the Birmingham Mail: "I got a phone call from Randy Lerner, who was in America, and he was superb.
"I am looking forward to meeting him on Sunday and if the Captain is at the game as well, I'd like to think he would come over and offer his hand. It may be asking too much of him to expect an out and out apology, but it would be nice if he at least said something.
"At the time, I thought his comments were very disrespectful for someone who had only been in football and this city for two minutes compared to our 15 years. But you have to move on in life and it's wrong to carry a grudge, especially as club principals where you have a responsibility to the city, and I don't say that in any high-falutin' way.
"Our relationship with Villa has always been good and this shouldn't cause us any problems in the future as it's been put to bed now.
"And, as I said, I thought Randy Lerner was a first class individual when we spoke and I will be pleased to see him at last in person."
