New Birmingham City goalkeeper David Stockdale has thanked Brighton following his move to St. Andrews.
David Stockdale played a key role in helping Brighton & Hove Albion earn promotion into the Premier League last season but the 31-year-old has surprisingly decided to remain in the Championship by signing a deal with Birmingham City recently.
Stockdale left Brighton after failing to agree a new deal with the Seagulls but despite the bitter exit, the custodian has gone on to thank his former club through a series of message on social media website Twitter.
Stockdale posted: “I'd like to thank all at @OfficialBHAFC for 3 memorable years. From top to bottom. The squad of friends and to the great fans. THANK YOU.
“Now on to my next adventure at the mighty @BCFC . Hoping to make it 2 in 2 years. Can't wait to get started at this massive club."
