Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish admits their survival hopes will depend on Mikael Forssell.

"Forssell is a quality striker," said McLeish. "There is no doubt about that.

"In training I've never seen a guy getting off so many shots and it was not a surprise to see him score against Middlesbrough.

"But we have to wrap the guy in cotton wool and make sure he has got the edge right until the end of the season.

"I brought him off late in the game against Middlesbrough to make sure he is available for an equally important game against Fulham on Saturday."
